Partner with high school students to implement a first-of-its-kind Design Thinking program based on a real world challenge from the Liberty Science Center... "How to use technology to increase teen visits to and engagement with Liberty Science Center."
All Things Media partnered with top area high school Ramsey HS (Ramsey, NJ) and nationally-renown science and technology museum, Liberty Science Center, on an innovative Design Thinking program (the first of its kind in New Jersey's K-12 system). The students were empowered to use the Stanford University Design Thinking methodology to collaborate on ideation and potential solutions. ATM's design and technology teams worked directly with the students to teach them about different technologies, and then shaped their concepts and proposals into workable solutions that could be implemented at Liberty Science Center. Concept investigation and design leveraged numerous technologies including Virtual Reality, App development, 3D Projection technology, gesture control and video production. ATM worked hand-in-hand with the students to refine their concepts, adhere to real deadlines, and coordinate their presentations direct to Liberty Science Center executive team. Students received feedback from Liberty Science Center executives, and several concepts are under consideration for future implementation.
