Nickelodeon approached ATM to develop a digital experience to be featured at their exhibit at Play Fair 2016. Open to the public, Play Fair is an extension of Toy Fair in New York City's Javits Center. Nickelodeon requested a fun, quick, immersive, experience that customers could interact with.
ATM utilized its proprietary software platform to develop a "Magic Mirror" display using Nickelodeon's popular Ninja Turtle character, Leonardo. Featuring a large display monitor with an attached Kinect sensor, the Magic Mirror allows the user to literally transform into Leonardo on screen. As they move in front of the monitor, the character mirrors their movements in real time, creating a fun, interactive experience. This quick, engaging experience was the "hit" of Play Fair and saw over 20,000 Play Fair visitors take part over the course of two days. Nickelodeon is now seeking to expand the experience both in the US and Internationally.
