Challenge:
Toys "R" Us approached ATM to develop a pilot program featuring the most comprehensive series of digital experiences ever installed in a retail store. The Toys "R" Us Model of the Future program needed to engage customers in new and immersive ways, tie directly to products, increase store activity and drive sales. All elements of the program needed to be implemented for the critical holiday sales period. The program would be an important test of best types of digital interactions.
Solution:
ATM utilized its full suite of in-house digital services and every digital team to develop and implement 8 different, custom built, digital experiences at over 70 touch points throughout the store.
The Toys R Us Model of the Future featured:
The entire Toys R Us Model of the Future digital experience was tied together by a custom software platform developed by ATM. Each digital experience was also tied together by a graphic design theme created and produced by ATM. Every piece of digital content, every digital display, every kiosk, manufactured display, and the Magic Wands were created, completed, tested, approved and implemented in a span of only 4 months! The number of technologies implemented at one-time was unprecedented and included Unity, Bluetooth technology, beacon technology, touch screen devices, gesture control devices, 3D projection technology, 360 degree technology, and product scanning technology. The results were positive and profound leading to double digit sales increases in the store vs. prior year, a major increase in store activity and visits, and identifying key technologies for roll out to Toys R Us locations.

During the past holiday season, All Things Media (ATM) partnered with Keefe, Bruyette & Woods, a Stifel Company also known as KBW.
Traditionally, KBW hosts a lavished holiday event at NYC's Rockefeller Center to watch the annual tree lighting. Unfortunately, due to the global pandemic in 2020, in-person events were no longer an option, so KBW called on All Things Media to help create a virtual version of their traditional event. ATM's development team got right to work and in 4-short weeks created a KBW registration portal, virtual lobby complete with animated people, company branding, holiday music and decorations. The team at ATM was able to combine pre-taped and live segments into a seamless, online, live event, and did their best to replicate the festive vibe and cozy feeling of an in-person, holiday event.
With over 100 bank CEOs in attendance, the evening kicked off with a fireside chat along with annual reports and future projections. Following the business side of the event, everyone in attendance enjoyed a wine tasting hosted by the renowned sommelier Marco Molesini (as bottles of wine were shipped to individuals prior to the event). After the wine tasting the group was treated to a live comedy performance by the world famous comedian Sebastian Maniscalco. Sebastian joked with KBW's senior executives and picked people in the audience to playfully interact with. ATM's event team was able to spotlight those audience interactions in real time. The evening ended with holiday greetings from KBW's most senior staff members.
While nothing can replace the feeling of face-to-face interactions, All Things Media delivered the next best thing, and the evening was a complete success.

Mercedes-AMG tasked All Things Media with creating a digital experience that would showcase what makes their high-performance vehicles the best in industry, "the AMG Distinction".
ATM developed a two-screen, real-time 3D experience that can literally "explode" every car in the lineup, allowing customers to see what's under the hood, and what makes their One Man – One Engine philosophy so special. A series of engine, transmission, suspension, exhaust, and brake animations were produced – all of which can be rotated and manipulated at any time during the experience. All vehicles and components are displayed in astounding 4K resolution, built off the CAD data used to manufacture these exclusive vehicles.
Winner of Motionographer's 2016 Motion Award for Interactive: UI/Visual Design.

Create an intriguing digital display for Mercedes-Benz at the PGA Championship to assist with scheduling.
As a sponsor for the PGA Championship, Mercedes-Benz has a large entertainment tent at the show. Tournament attendees can visit the tent and participate in a "putt lab" to help them improve their putting skills. To help with scheduling for this activity, ATM developed a simple app that can be used by support staff to schedule and coordinate appointments. This app can also be mirrored on a "leader board" so attendees can see when they are scheduled to participate.

Cognizant Technologies, a multi-national IT firm, asked ATM to help transform a large hotel space into a branded environment for their annual meeting.
Leveraging content from a recent campaign, ATM created a separate environment within a hotel that exuded strong Cognizant branding and messaging. Large, modular elements were used in various areas of the conference space and large adhesive flexible decals were created for use on floors, walls, and windows in different combinations. Cognizant's brand palette was integrated with the existing decor of the hotel. Cognizant said that it was the best environment that has ever been created for their annual meeting and that attendees felt the Cognizant brand all around them.

In 2015, MBUSA charged ATM with redesigning and rebuilding the in-store Digital Signage experience.
ATM accomplished this by creating an experience reflective of the newly redesigned vehicle apps used by dealers as a sales tool. The large touch screen allows dealership personnel to walk potential customers through the entire vehicle line and includes a complete “build-your-own” experience. Customers can also e-mail summaries of their build to themselves. In addition, the interface includes real-time inventory search to allow dealers to sell from in-store stock.

Augment client presentation programs with the innovative Leap Motion gesture control platform.
ATM combined its 3D skill set to create photo-real and low-poly models from high-poly CAD data for Mercedes-Benz USA. Using its expertise in C# on the Unity platform, ATM created a full 3D environment and developed a defined set of gestures that allowed the use of a Leap Motion controller to manipulate and display the car using just a person's fingertips in space, rendered in real-time, at all angles. The result is an extremely immersive experience that can be applied to anything that requires visualizing an actual object.

Stryker came to All Things Media seeking a dynamic, eye-catching installation for its booth at a medical trade show.
Using augmented reality software and Real-Time 3D rendering, we created a unique experience that allowed visitors to see brain surgery being performed on their head. The experience created by closely studying medical source materials, created a buzz around the booth and drew attendees to learn more about other Stryker products and services.
